SAFETY TIPS FOR KIDS

     Don't Play With MATCHES or LIGHTERS!

Don't play with Matches or Lighters. They are dangerous. They will hurt you.

If you see someone playing with them, go tell an Adult.

     In The Bathroom

Always tell an adult you are getting in the tub.

Always check the water to make sure it is not too HOT before getting in the tub.

Don't horseplay in the bathroom or tub. It may be Slippery!

     In The Kitchen

Never cook things unless an Adult helps you.

Be very careful when around the stove.

Never play with knives.

Be very careful around HOT FOOD and HOT WATER.

     Check Your Smoke Detectors

1.	Make sure you have Smoke Detectors where you live
2.	Help an ADULT Test the Smoke Detectors once a month
3.	Change the batteries in the FALL and SPRING

   STOP, DROP, and ROLL

If Your Clothes Catch On Fire

STOP

DO NOT RUN - Running only makes it worse.

DROP

DROP TO THE GROUND.

Try to cover your eyes with your hands.

ROLL

ROLL and ROLL and ROLL.

Roll Your Body.

Try to smother the fire.
