To kick off our celebration of 75 Years Service, all former and present Barbourville Firemen were invited to an "Old Timers" Dinner on March 13th at Station #2.  We gathered at 6:00 pm.  Dinner was served at 7:00 pm by the Barbourville Firemens Club.  Everyone enjoyed a steak, baked potato, tossed salad, and their favorite beverages.  There were pies and a special cake served for desert.

     In commemoration of this milestone, the Barbourville Firemens Club has commissioned a First Gear 1:43 scale diecast model of a 1951 Ford Pumper similar to BFD Truck #1 with door and hood lettering matching that of Truck #1.
